Life After Surviving Part 2
In Part 1, we shared the story of survival—the cost of staying in an abusive relationship, and the years of trauma and violence endured.
In Part 2, we turn to what comes after survival. Life doesn’t simply return to normal when the abuse ends—the echoes remain. This episode looks at the aftermath: the anger and rage that surface, the grief and fear of the unknown, and the challenge of beginning to rebuild.
Together, we explore how healing begins—not only for the survivor, but for the children and family who carry their own scars. This is a raw and honest reflection on the long process of moving forward, reclaiming life, and learning what healing can look like after surviving domestic violence.
⚠️ Trigger Warning: This episode discusses domestic violence, trauma, and emotional aftermath. Please listen with care.
